The Chairman of Senate, Professor Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele also appealed to all Head of Departments and Dean of Faculties to bring all outstanding NCE results in their care for Senate to put to rest such pending results.

As part of effort to ensure that all Senate members flow with the digital and information age, Professor Ndimele gave out Tablets (a portable, mobile and wireless touch screen personal computer) to all members of Senate (except for those who came very late to the Senate meeting) for them to access or browse the internet, send emails, read electronic books, make phone calls, send messages, record videos and use it as a personal, educational and workplace applications in addition to other tasks it can perform .

He appreciated Members for support given during the celebration of the tenth anniversary of the University even though low keyed. He however admonished Members of Senate to mind their ways, to forgive and forget, love one another and to constantly think of the growth and development of the institution above all else.

During any other matter, the University Librarian, Professor Boma Beatrice Obi expressed appreciation to Senate Members for the moral and financial support accorded her family during the burial of her husband late Engineer (Chief) Eugene Obi and added that she is strengthen by the outpour of love and care.

Similarly, Professor Samuel Amaele also thanked the Vice-Chancellor for giving him the opportunity to deliver his inaugural lecture, the twenty first in the series.
