For her selfless service to good governance, particularly to the development of Ndokwa nation, the Executive Director of Centre for Transparency Advocacy (CTA) Faith Nwadishi has been honoured by Amai Development Union and the Ukwani people of Delta State.

Nwadishi who has been a vocal voice and a strong advocate for community development in the oil-rich Niger Delta was recognised with the Excellence in Visionary Leadership award

Faith Nwadishi who hails from Ishikaguma -Amai in Ukwuani Local Government Area of Delta State, has led several advocacy to end gas flaring in the Niger Delta and use of resources to develop the region.

She is a civil engineer, and a gender activist with over 25 years experience.

As CTA boss, she has led consistent campaign for electoral reforms.

She has been the Executive Director of Koyenum Immallah Foundation, a non-governmental organization championing the cause of health, education and youth empowerment.

She represented Africa CSOs actors on the International board of the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI), a position she held March 2013-June 2019.

She served as the representative of the Civil Societies on the National Stakeholders Working Group (NSWG) of the Nigeria Extractives Industry Transparency Initiative (NEITI).

She has expertise in extractives, governance, and advocacy, and is an alumnus of the Les Aspin Centre for Government, Washington DC.
