Exclusion from formal education makes one vulnerable to intellectual and rational ridicule; exclusion from the benefits of education is even worse. In other words, not being able to access formal education is quite understandable but the point of not still gaining from people who got the experience causes even more damage, research has confirmed. However, this notion has been neglected for so long and government, being a rare sponsor of such programmes (when it even holds), holds not much information about non-formal education and where it practically comes in to games.

These centers of attack are meanwhile pioneered chiefly by people who have been victimized by violent extremists resulting to such circumstances as poverty, hunger and subsequent vulnerability. The brainwashing into terrorism penetrates their naïve minds easily with mouth-watering promises keeping the blind-spot to themselves.

However, research has shown that promoting respect for diversity, peace and economic advancement, education can be a barrier against radicalization.
