Messi won the balloon Door because God was on his side. And if you check, he didn't have sufficient rivals.

As a footballer, you need to think on these things below when you are in a club or when you are clamouring for ballon door.

(1) Stay Where You Flourish: Messi has never left Barca throughout his entire professional footballing career. He succeeded mostly at Barca. Cristiano Ronaldo succeeded mostly at Madrid. If you are flourishing in a club, stay there. It is only one life you have!!

(2) Do Not Try to Prove Unnecessary Points: There is no UEFA rule or FIFA rule that states that "you must move from club to club to prove you are the best". Movng from club to club should be your own business and not your competitors business.

(3) Be Humble: Your humility is a great point in your career. If you are humble and great in football, even your mates in football may recommend you as the best.

(4) Avoid Unhealthy Competitions: If you want to surpass someone's record or game, do not always say it verbally to the public or even mock such a person. Just be excellent in your game with the aim of surpassing the person.

(5) Do Not Be Selfish: If others succeed above you, appreciate them even if they are smaller players. The whole success in life must not revolve around you alone.
