I can across this thread on the front page that says Buhari inherented $10 billion debt and borrowed $70 billion, this obviously false.
I wonder why people take it upon themselves to misinform others. Please see below a screenshots from DMO

According to the DMO, as at June 2015, the external debt of the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) and the 36 states was $10.316 billion; domestic debt (FGN only) was $42.633 billion while domestic debt of states was $10.856 billion. These give a total public debt of $63.806 billion as at June 2015.

I don't know how things are pushed to the front page on Nairaland. However it is done, it's a terrible way of doing things .
No proper vetting, no checks, no proper handling. Many times, the topic is completely Alarming with no other aim than to draw traffic, cause ethnic tensions and promote division among the people.

I hope that wisdom will prevail and they will learn to do the right things.

Meanwhile, if this makes front page, it would be a miracle.
It's not a story on snakes nor is it one that causes strife and its not about a celebrity who just bought a car or even just changed his boxers
