United States senator, Cory Booker, has joined Senator Bob Menendez, a ranking member of the US Senate's Foreign Relations Committee, in condemning the rearrest of Omoyele Sowore in court. On Friday, Menendez had said the brutal manner in which Sowore arrested was a blatant miscarriage of justice and promised to have his country intervene on the matter. Booker, who also reacted on Friday, described the situation as dangerous and promised to assent to any move that will uphold the rule of law in the country. Buhari and his DSS has broken a world record. DSS coming into the court to arrest a person standing trial while the court pronouncement is going on and also in front of the judges  Well, no need to blame anyone. The legend warned Nigerians before the election that what lies ahead is of two choices; to go forward or backwards - which Nigerians chose backwards, freedom of speech or tyrannical style of rule- which Nigerians chose tyrannical style of rule, and also a record of beneficial reform, visible achievements and desperate power-seekers with empty promises - of which Nigerians chose desperate power-seekers with empty promises. helinues: Why do guys often underestimate high level power play US has all over the world. The only two countries that can look up to US eye balls to eye balls are china n russia the only other that threatning them with nuclear war heads are Iran n n.korea. How many times has US intervened in this naija? Did u think it was child play when babaginda said i step aside or abacha n abiola died like chicken? What about abdulsalam that willingly conduct election immediately or Jonathan that handover power without stress? Dollarheist: They wont get it. They're passive bystanders looking for a savior in the form of the US or International community. Nigerians should tell NASS to impeach before running outside looking for help. Personally I dont think America cares. The only sanction Cameroon received was getting kicked from AGOA. The US cannot afford to push the most populous African country to Russian and Chinese spheres of influence and strategic alliance just because of a Sowore.
