The Ebonyi State Honourable Commissioner For investment & Abuja Liaison, Barr. Joseph Ekumankama has urged Ebonyians resident in Abuja to think home and invest in the State.

In a press release made available to newsmen in Abuja, Barr. Joseph Ekumankama stated that Ebonyi State has become the investors destination choice in Nigeria, He cited the infrastructural revolution and enabling business environment created by His Excellency Engr. Dave Umahi, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State as an indication that Ebonyi State is open for business.

He outlined some of the infrastructural projects which has opened Ebonyi State for business to include the ultra-modern fertilizer blending plant which is the first and only in the entire South East and South South zones, the construction of flyovers, rehabilitation of urban roads, construction of rural roads, ring road, water reticulation in the urban areas, three world standard 700-metre twin Trans-Sahara bridge linking Enugu and Ebonyi States with Cameroon; the Senator OffiaNwali flyover; the 14.5km Abakaliki-Afikpo road.

Barr. Joseph Ekumankama urged Ebonyians resident in the FCT to take advantage of remodelled Abakaliki Towns, completed concrete-based reconstruction of over seventy 70 roads/streets; added to these are ornamental streets lights which adorn the entire road networks and even the overhead bridge making it a crime free state, he urged them to come home and cite their businesses in the State as the State Government has put modalities in place that will guarantee every investor a return on his investment.
