- Sets agenda for the upliftment of the college.


The alumni association of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, Oto-Ijanikin have welcomed the choice of Prof. Bilikis Idowu as the new provost of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education.

In a statement signed by the National Public Relations Officer, Opeyemi Eniola, the alumni association have on behalf of the National President, Prince Shina Stephen Akintolure, members of the executives and all members congratulated the Professor of Health Education for her appointment to steer the affairs of the college for the next five (5) years with appointment effective from 11th of January, 2020.

Recall, the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, recently approved the appointment of Professor Bilikis Bidemi IDOWU as the new Provost of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education, sequel to the expiration of the tenure of Dr.(Mrs.) O.A Ladele come 11th January, 2020.

While welcoming the choice of the new Provost, the alumni association have set agendas for Prof. Idowu, these includes: facilitation of more infrastructures, improvement of workers welfare, supports for the students and building on the effective working system in the college.

"We are glad that the appointment of the new provost is a choice based on experience and qualification, we appreciate the governor and also charge him to pay more attention to the development of the college", the statement added.
