A final year Law student of Rivers State University, Matilda Itonyo Mark, was stabbed to death in her apartment in the early hours of Tuesday December 10.

She was found laying in the pool of her blood in her apartment close to Eagle Island, Port-harcourt after being raped and stabbed afterwards.

The 24-year-old's corpse was taken to a morgue in an ambulance accompanied by security personnel. The Rivers state Police Command and the Management of the Rivers State University are yet to comment on the incident. Friends of the deceased have already taken to social media to pen down tributes to her.

Who's behind all these heinous acts?
It takes years of sacrifice to raise a child to that age and then some unscrupulous agents just come to snuff life out of the child and put the family in sorrow.

I'm sure the Nigerian police is working on the case.
