Storage tanks play a crucial role in modern industry. Water, Petroleum, Chemicals, natural gas, different types of fuel, from diesel to jet fuel are transported and stored in secure, high performance tanks to ensure optimal safety and efficiency.

These tankages can be designed to suit a wide range of settings and facility needs, with custom builds, setups and unique treatments and coatings available to withstand corrosive and hazardous materials.

Storage tank design and construction is a course designed to offer the participants an insight of how tank farm storage tanks are designed and constructed. This Storage Tank Design promise to provide a comprehensive detailed overview of the American Petroleum Institute API-650 & API-620.
At the end of the training course, participants will:
• Grasp the Relevant Types of Storage Tank and their associated terminologies.
• Learn about Tank Design Features and Components
• API Standard 650 Design and Construction of Storage Tanks
• API Standard 620 Design and Construction of Large Welded, Low Pressure Storage Tanks

Training Methodology
The Storage Tank Design and Construction will be conducted along with workshop principles such as formal lectures, videos and interactive worked examples. Each learning point will be reinforced with practical exercises and ample opportunities for discussion and sharing of experiences.

Certificates of Achievement shall be awarded by GL ENGINEERING LIMITED to participants after practical evaluation. Please note that 75% is a minimum passing grade to obtain the Certificate of Achievement otherwise you only receive certificate of Completion.
