In 2015, the alarmists trumpeted that that if Buhari won the election, press freedom would disappear, people's fundamental rights will be taken away and half of Nigerians would be in prison. Well, this is 2019, none of these has happened. However, this is not justifying a number of illegal detentions by government security agencies.

In the same 2015, the alarmists also trumpeted that Buhari will Islamize Nigeria if elected. This is 2019, nothing of sort has happened.

Then in 2018, the alarmists changed their tune to the effect that Buhari would Fulanize Nigeria following criminal herdsmen attacks on villages. So far, there is no trace of this and the menace of criminal herdsmen has been put in check.

Again, in 2019 the alarmists went to town that Buhari has cornered Judiciary and NASS as prelude to his 3rd term project. Wisely, Buhari restated clearly and loudly his commitment to stick to the two terms as contained in Nigeria constitution.

Now happening, the alarmists are heating up the polity and creating state of psychological panic in gullible Nigerians that Buhari is set to become a civilian military dictator. Become a dictator when he cannot even force NASS to increase the speed of passage of budget by a minute, let alone make them change the constitution.

Interestingly, each alarm is followed by shortlived online hysteria while the truth remains constant offline and Buhari remains unfazed in office.

Isn't it ironical that the same "President Buhari" was berated for not being the "General Buhari" during our recent diplomatic face off with South Africa. Some people even wished that Gen Abacha was in charge. SMH

Sorry NBA but on this u are wrong
In a democracy a leader is referred to as president
In a dictatorship u hear head of state, grand leader or president for life
I love what punch did tho
That clown can't be a dictator and want to be called president

Don't call him that for respect sake, please....When he booked space over an hour ago, I was smiling to myself.

I know he is pro-APC and is well within his rights, but when men his age who should admonish, begin to write epistles with fine words to hoodwink, it calls for worry.

There is a difference between style ("kindly check up the meaning of the word "style" in this specific context because it is not the ordinary usage of the word)= honorifics and personal titles

e.g when Shagari was president he has
The President of Nigeria, His Excellency........

That was his "style" and that is the style for Nigerian president

But his own title "alhaji" was added to his official style
so he was The President: Alhaji Shehu Shari
He could be Mr Shagari, Dr Shagari , Professor Shagari etc wherever applicable

So there is nothing wrong in sayin
The President of Nigeria ,His Excellency Alhaji Shehu Shagari
The President of Nigeria His Excellency Professor XYZ or General ABC
None of that removes from the official style

Stop throwing tantrum like a kid.

My region is the most developed region with the highest revenue generating states beside oil revenue.

What is your erosion ravaged region contribution to Nigeria?

We are talking about presidency here. You’re third class citizen and you will continue to wail till eternity.

I expect your kinsmen to come on here and troll Tinubu like you always do.

grin grin grin

Election losers have many different ways of expressing themselves.

As If Buhari cares sef.

The man is in his living room chewing gworo and sipping fura da nunu and laughing his asssss off.

If they like call him field marshal.

Nigeria does not even need democracy until 50 years' time.

What we need now is military dictatorship.

What we need is a disciplined and God fearing dictator to save this country full of lawless humans.

150 million of us Nigerians and lawless and corrupt.
