LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMANSHIP POSITION FOR SALE IN ENUGU STATE.

The pride of the East (Enugu) is gradually loosing every sense of dignity in Governor Ugwuanyi's regime. Ugwuanyi is the worst governor since the creation of Enugu State.
He isn’t fit for leadership, he is deceitful and anti democrat.

Different sources close to the government have revealed that the Governor of Enugu State, Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has placed a prices tag on the LG Chairmanship position. This was made known some days ago after the Governor endorsed the outgoing Chairman of Nsukka Local Government, Mr. Patrick Omeje and few other LG Chairmen. It was gathered that Mr. Patrick Omeje who has nothing to show for two years in the office and few others paid huge amount of money running into hundreds of million. Some people who went to the government house were shocked when the Governor asked the outgoing Chairman to apologise to the people for his wrong doings. It was after the apology that he Governor whose body language suggested a compromise endorsed Mr. Patrick Omeje for second term.

People are now wondering why an apology of that manner should qualify a failure for a second term.
If not for the money he paid, how can a sane person endorse Mr. Patrick Omeje for second term.

Payment for political office position has been witnessed by the people of Enugu State since Mr. Ugwuanyi became governor in 2015. This is one of the major problems in Enugu State. It is widely perceived that majority of his appointees are square pegs in round holes. This has been happening even as they believe that Enugu State is in the hands of God. Our resources are being squandered on irrelevant visits such as child dedication & irrelevant birthdays.

It is obvious that Ugwuanyi is a cash and carry governor. The only governor who collects money from people for political positions.

How can a Governor of a State engage in such act. Well, everything is possible in Nigeria.
