The sad news broke out yesterday after Prof. J. B. Elusiyan was attacked while driving along Ekpoma-Benin expressway yesterday evening by suspected fulani herdsmen. May his soul rest in peace.

My great tutor in Med school
He was shot while coming from Benin,
He went to conduct examination for medical students I learnt.
Rest in peace Sir.
May God give the family fortitude to bear this huge loss

So sad. One of the DCMACs broke the news earlier today and we passed same route earlier this week when coming from FMC Lokoja. It's high time these killings were addressed nationwide. Prof. was such a notable person. Lots of ordinary people are being killed by these animals everyday unnoticed.
