What Wike is saying is logical, Dickson shouldn't plan to annex oil wells found in Kalabariland while claiming to love Kalabari people. Dickson is even a member of the highest Kalabari social club, yet is in court to challenge oil wells in Kalabariland. just imagine.

You claim to be Pro-Ijaw and want to undo fellow Ijaws.

If Kalabari wants to join Bayelsa state, better sef, make them carry Okrika join. grin

Bonny, Opobo follow suit.

Wike has not said anything logical my brother. The genesis of the seeding of the oil wells in 2012 needs to be revisited. Wike was the one who spearheaded that seeding to undermine amarachi and his govt. Why is he now crying like a baby. Amarachi fought to keep the wells but some kalabari sons and daughters joined hands with wike to fight that the Wells be seeded to bayelsa in order to reduce river's state income. Now he is crying like we have forgotten his role. Make he go chill for one corner abeg

Lol!

Lag na different pot of soup

Abi why you think say them call am megacity?

Am sure all the govs get property for lag. Some dey even rule their state from lag and then there is also liaison offices of all states in lag.

So your comparison is not really analogous using lagos or abj.
You're clearly mistaken, there's freedom to move to any part of Nigeria as guaranteed by constitution, except there's a counter law to that, wike is wrong, a governor can choose to visit any state and not inform the visited state chief executive, makinde visited kogi without telling bello. Lagos is a state, so your reason why his comparison doesn't stand holds no water. Many governors have shuffled other states without informing the governor of the state, dickson isn't breaking record. Wike should stop crying like bush baby.

Wether Wike and Dickson attempted to undermine Amarachi or Chiamaka, the fact remains that Soku and Kula are popular Kalabari towns in Rivers state. The oil wells found n those areas are in Kalabari and Kalabari is in Rivers. So whatever politics at play cannot negate that fact. Except we are all agreeing that Kalabari is now in Bayelsa, which will even be a good thing sef. Make we know who and who remain for Rivers.

Wasn't Wike part of those who supported the ceding of the oil wells to Bayelsa then? Now that he is a 2nd term Governor he has realized it was wrong to have ganged up against Amaechi with Bayelsans against interest of Rivers State.
He now thinks he can survive without Ijaw backing forgetting that it was Ijaws that actually gave him power through federal might and militants.

Wasn't wike amongst people defending kula n soku oil well to Bayelsa? I remember that Amechi was fighting for these oil wells when he was a governor but wike was supporting Jonathan over these wells.

I laugh at gullible Nigerians sometimes cos they don't normally understand the motives behind all these rubbish these misappropriated so-called leaders portray. Was it not Tinubu I saw in Atiku's son wedding the other day? They are always after their selfish interest and once that is achieved, u are on ur own. So, Ijaw people should not kill themselves cos of those two men.

Maybe there is something we don't know about it all.
OIL WELLS TRANSFERRED TO BAYELSA BY GEJ IS PART OF THE PROBLEMS.

SPOT ON !!!

That is one of the irony of life.

Wike was so concerned about his governorship ambition, back then, that he forgot he is of Rivers state.

He was just out to negate anything Amaechi.

Now what goes around has come around.

Bro forget the names attached to the wells...those wells are neither here nor there. The naming of well is like naming of university. Most times the well is in a dffrnt location but derive its name from the nearest big or popular town. Same has been said of these wells in the past But the point is while that was an excuse to seed the wells to Bayelsa state , wike and his goons were actually out to please Jonathan who foisted him on river's pple. Yes he was forced on river's pple because he comes from same ikwere as amarachi (amaechi). Abi another tribe nor dey rivers to become gov. Make he relax day just break for am.

I know about naming of oil wells and how tricky they can be. They had an arrangement to undermine Amaechi so as to reduce funding for Buhari(Amaechi was Buhari's principal cash cow then).

Now, Buhari is Nigerias president and the need for such arrangement was defeated, it expected that Rivers should take back what is hers, but Dickson wants to contest what was just a shabby arrangement. I know Dickson fear is that Bayelsa might be asked to return monies paid to her in error. Well, the case is in supreme Court, the final resolution is upon us.

Coming to see Ijaw people that died in Rivers as if he has condoled with those that died when David Lyon contested with Douye Diri. The IYC should be a responsible organisation and avoid being used as a tool to cause disaffection because any fallout no go sweet anybody.

Pazienza, you still haven't understood that you can't force your opinion on others. The Igbos who see Ikwerres as their brothers and Ijaws as their cousins do that with good reason. Their opinion need to be respected just as they respect yours. Don't force yours.

There isn't any opinion to force on others, other than some members of IPOB who are even starting to bow to to reason, many Igbos are beginning to take my current stance on Ikwerre and other groups in Rivers state, go to Pan Igbo thread on Nairaland and see the reality.

The Igbos who see Ijaws and Ikwerres as anything other than just mere neighbours are emotional poorly informed lots and they are a dying breed, who are still stuck on pre 1970 era and has refused to align with and work with the current reality on ground. We( the Igbo nationalists) will see to it that such becomes extinct in Igboland by running a very strong campaign on and offline against such stance. We are counting on your natural Igbophobic nature to win over our fellow Igbos who are still blind to your antics.

The Igbo nation will never get on its feet again if it continues to allow the likes of Ikwerre to continue exploiting her emotionally. We must start putting Igbo interests first and foremost ahead of those of our neighbors. Because none of these neighbours has ever put Igbo interests ahead of theirs.

As for the cousins and brother nonsense, that's thrash. Igbos in Anambra and Enugu North are also maritally/genetically interlinked with Igalas, yet Igala are not Igbo cousins or brothers. The Arochukwu and the Igbos around that part of Igboland are strongly tied to Efiks, yet Efiks are not Igbo cousins. Igbos in Ikwuano section of Abia state are linked to Ibibios /Annangs and have been intermarrying since eternity, same in Ngwa/Ibibio boundary and Ndoki/Ibibio border.

What ever useless relationship you think you share with Ndiigbo, virtually all our neighbors share it with us, We have not just been giving our daughters in marriage to Ikwerres, we have been doing same to our Igala, Ibibio( by the way, do you know that Peter Obi wife is an Ibibio?), Efik, Ogoni, Ijaw neighbours. We have always been a people blessed with high fertility rate and low infant mortality, our women has always been hardworking, beautiful and amiable, and therefore are/were coveted by all our neighbors smileyboth in past and in present. So get it clear. You are just neighbors, nothing more, and nothing less.

Take a look below at this Igala chief? See his chieftancy title? It's clearly Igbo. That's to tell you the extent of intermarriage and relationship between Ndiigbo and Igalas.

Move on. Your emotional blackmail game was never even on, we were just giving you long rope to repent, and after 50years, it's obvious you have mistaken our patience for stupidity, and your folly for wisdom.
