Ephraim Inyangeyen congratulates A' Ibom State Governor on Supreme Court victory

The Honourable Commissioner for Works, Akwa Ibom State, Mr Ephraim Inyangeyen today congratulated congratulated Governor Udom Emmanuel over his victory at the Supreme Court, saying the victory affirms he was validly elected by the people.

In a chat with newsmen, the Works Commissioner said, with the Supreme Court's ruling, every doubt as to whether the governor won the 2019 Governorship polls which was keenly contested has been laid yo rest.

Commissioner Inyangeyen further commended the judiciary for remaining impartial and uncompromising in the handling of the case despite pressure and blackmail from certain quarters.

Inyangeyen congratulated the governor on behalf of the Management and Staff of the Ministry of Works in the State of Akwa Ibom and congratulated the Peoples Democratic Party and entire people of the State on this victory at the Supreme Court.

The Works Commissioner expressed confidence that, this judgement has put to an end the needless distractions, mudslinging, blackmail and provocation that pervaded the State since Governor Emmanuel was announced winner of the 2019 Governorship polls by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

He however lauded Governor Emmanuel for remaining focused on his completion agenda despite the antics of the opposition and assured that, the Governor will not dissapoint the people .
