Ok Drones inside the airport? There's nothing wrong with the directives. It's to make sure that touts are not disturbing real passengers.
Pls read it again. No one should be coming to welcome anyone until after they have gone pass thr immigration and other security agencies. That's the common sense approach.

Airports should be family friendly. With shops, restaurants, coffee shops and lounge seats for comfort and relaxation.
Have we all of a sudden forgotten our culture?
It was a shame that I couldn't find anywhere to sit at the airport as I traveled on Monday. The only place to sit was at Mr Biggs and the two other restaurants.
We must expand our airport.
Take a clue from Heathrow, Gatwick, casablanca, Egypt etc.

Some people just enjoy to complain about nothing. Most of the ones bellyaching don't even have passports not to talk of going through the airport or really understanding the reasons that necessitated the directives.

They are trying to bring sanity to the system and they are yapping.

As someone who goes through MMA on bi weekly basis, it's a good and welcome development. Hope they will stick to it.

You must be referring to the departure lounge , Airport floors are open to anyone , you must not hold a ticket to access an airport , what if one wants to buy his ticket on the airport floors or even just make enquiries about a flight...Airports like Singapore Airport are even a tourist attraction where people just come to hang out , dine and take pics

Stale news. They've been doing this for 2-4 years. And you'll have to beg, bribe someone for them to let you in with your family. In, Kotoko airport Accra, it's show your ticket before you enter.

Please, FAAN need to upgrade facilities at the MMI airport. I travel out and it's a big shame to continue to operate in a primate school classroom as airport.
In fairness and as much as I hate that airport they are due to tear it down and move operations to the new terminal.
