Theophilus Danjuma is Right. YORUBA should lay their Standards for TINUBU to report regularly monthly upon to their Elders Forum.

Because Danjuma's PDP faction has lost its influence Yoruba have "lost their voice" according to him?

What should the Yorubas be making noise over? Is it not only a mad Dog that barks rabidly non-stop? All Nigeria is facing hardship the current Government did not cause, and the SW is actually a winner with all things taken into account, so why is Danjuma asking us to be the mouthpiece for the discontent of some Nigerians? Why can't he lead his people to speak then? Why try rope Yorubas into their agitation.

Yorubas are smart now and we will not go back to the days of carrying Nigeria on our head to the detriment of the SW only to then receive insults from ingrates of other ethnic groups. Anyone wants to fight Buhari then be brave enough to take him on alone as Yorubas did against Abacha.

We are not falling for emotional blackmail anymore. Even Falana knows things have changed for good. The Yorubas are now operating smartly and pragmatically. I am personally happy for that because in Nigeria, full of tribalistic ingrates, it is "damned if you do, damned if you dont".

Three gbosa for you, gbosa, gbosa, gbosa.
They are seriously frustrated now. they want Yoruba to return to opposition while they milk the country dry.

You guys problem is that you have such infant level of IQ such that you all regurgitate the same rubbish like a damaged robot.

How are yoruba slaves when the APC government since 2015 benefited them the most? We have the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, the Ibadan-Lagos rail, the dry port in Ibadan among other infrastructural development.

The menace of the Fulani herdsmen is a national tragedy and we’ve seen countless cases where Fulanis butcher people in the SE and you guys just shout and shout without retaliating.

We’ve seen situation in the SW where the Are ona Kakanfo spoke about what the Alaafin are doing to the herdsmen and we’ve seen cases where their cows are killed in their hundreds with thunder.

The SW don’t shout like the other tribes, we remain silent and kill discreetly and that to me is not a definition of a coward.

The coward here are the people that come online and shout ontop their voices only for them to cry when the Fulani struck behind their backyard.

Even Mazi Kanu is currently AWOL and cannot grace his parent burial. Cowards![

you can compare mazi Nnamdi KANU to sowore na,,,,,
who will sensitize these afonjas for us,, don't you know is better to stay with on your own than parading oneself as a Yoruba vice president that has been reduced to an errand boy?

Why should any sane man go to the east before they can build a house? Upon all the lands we have in the SW, who in their right mind will think of building houses on an erosion ravaged SE lands?

In your warped reasoning, we can conclude the Americans are poor too, since a lot of Africa go to USA to hustle and send money back home to build houses in their enclaves.

Soon, the Yorubas will be issuing visas to the Igbos before they can come to the Yoruba lands. You guys are the one clamoring most for a new country and yet you are the one that want to live and die in Yoruba lands. Such an irony.

Ctorch:
The ‘fifth columnists’ among your people are not helping matters - Theophilus Danjuma hits Yoruba over state of the nation

Retired General Theophilus Danjuma says Nigeria is experiencing a lot of challenges that require its citizens to 'wake up'

- Danjuma, a former defence minister, accuses some people in Yoruba land of playing roles that have not helped the nation

- Leader of the Afenifere, Ayo Adebanjo, also claims the south west has been politically submerged

Theophilus Danjuma, a retired Army General and former defence minister in Nigeria, has said if the country must make progress, its people must be ready to play their parts.
Daily Trust reports that Danjuma said this in Ibadan, Oyo state, during a book launch on the story of the Nigerian Tribune.
The report quoted Danjuma as saying what the country is facing would not make anyone who is aware sleep soundly.

“In Yorubaland, everybody seems to have lost their voice, scared. And people appear not to care about what is happening. If I tell you what I know that is happening in Nigeria today, you will no longer sleep," he was quoted as saying.

Danjuma said: "Nigeria is in a big hole as nation. And people who put us in this hole have continued today. So, we’ve to wake up. Only we can save ourselves."
He lamented what he called the activities of fifth columnists in the south west adding that these set of people have not helped the situation.
He prayed that God will continue to bless the country.
The report also quoted Chief Ayo Adebajo, a leader of the Afenifere pan-Yoruba group as saying the south west had been politically submerged.
On his part, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, said the country urgently needs restructuring.
He also kicked against the controversial hate speech bill currently going through the process of becoming law the Senate.

Yoruba responsibility is for Yoruba first before Nigeria. Yoruba is not responsible for the underdevelopment in the east neither are they responsible for the hight rate of illiteracy in the North, Yoruba also have problems to solve, why must Yoruba care for Nigeria, it was the same nonsense both the East and north brought to destroy the Yoruba civilisation during regional government.

Go home now and ask your fathers about the bravery of the Yorubas and they will fall off their chairs when you mention Benjamin Adekunle the scorpion. He was feared by the Igbos such that it got to a stage that even the federal troops feared him too.

Awolowo of blessed memory used the pen and paper alone to decimate you in your millions and you’re here saying Yorubas are cowards!

The Oyo empire conquered lands far beyond the shores of Nigeria and we have Yoruba language spoken across thousand miles from Oyo. We have the gallant empire that is well documented across ages.

What empire has the Igbo man ever had? Where do you originate from? What war have you ever fought and won?

We have Gani Fawehinmi, Fela, NADECOs, Femi Falana, Wole Soyinka, Sowore etc. who one time or the other faced the powers that be without fleeing Nigeria when they are needed most. Those are the definition of bravery.

Ojukwu fleed like a pu**y pig disguised like a woman while Nnamdi Kanu ran away with his tail behind his legs without being able to bury his late mom and dad.

Tribes of cowards!

Ojukwu died unfulfilled? Ojukwu is a coward? You must have overdosed on tramadol. It is mostly Yorubas that brand Ojukwu a coward. The northerners, our primary enemies in the war, seldom refer to Ojukwu as coward.

You're literally wallowing in self - deception and audacity of unintelligence. Imagine boasting Adekunle - a man who regretted his civil war action and decried the war and his actions. Why would you focus on civil war Adekunle and ignore post-civil war Adekunle who died a wretched and painful death having been used and dumped by Fulani OLIGARCHY.?

No matter how much you try to spin this. Ojukwu is a coward and he will forever be.

When he came back to Nigeria after exile, he publicly campaigned for Shagari even when Azikwe was on the ballot for presidency. I have the video with me and I’m totally ashamed of his cowardice such that he still campaigned openly without shame for the Fulani hegemony that slaughtered his people not too long ago.

Lol, do you mean generals should all be running cowardly when the war is lost? Does the phrase live to fight another day qualify Ojukwu? Which other day did he fought? He died unfulfilled and even contested for the seat of the presidency for a nation he fought against?

He is a coward just like Nnamdi Kanu the fugitive that’s producing porn video instead of coming home to bury his parents.

I already hanged my boot on this thread. We are not talking about regret here, we are talking of actions that happened during the said events.

Your kinsmen on the media space had this stupid mindset of terming Yorubas coward and betrayals. This reasoning has existed so long in the media space and it the narrative needs to be corrected now to put you guys in your place.

In the history of Nigeria, the Igbos are the betrayals of anything called the southern creed. It is well documented in our history and for the Igbo man to turnaround to label the Yorubas betrayal give credence to the fact that you guys are double-mouthed.

Also in terms of cowardice, the Igbos have shown the most coward behavior in the history of Nigeria. The Igbo man problem was that he thought because he fought the Biafra war, he is automatically brave. That war was a genocide and I don’t see the reason why you guys believe you actually amount to anything tangible.

Cowards always hide behind their keyboards online to issue threat while in reality they fizzle like chicken and they cannot face the powers that be.

Like I said, your fathers (ancestors) will fall of their chairs when they mention the great Yorubas that were instrumental to the defeat of Biafra. That explains why your ancestors hated the Yorubas the most (even above the Fulani hegemony themselves). It was because the Yorubas are the intellects behind the gun that decimated your forebears in their numbers.

Awolowo was the most hated man in igboland as a result of biafran war, and he was never a soldier!

You are such a big foool, you think about what you will eat today, what about the future of your children in a non working system.

I thought you guys wanted your different country, why do you make it a duty in telling the Yorubas to be a police to the Nigerian political system?

During the heat of Abacha’s tyranny, it was thesame Yorubas that fought in their numbers to give us the democracy we are enjoying today. The Igbos inturn led million marches in solidarity for Abacha.

When the cabals tried denying Jonathan his right to ascend the presidential throne, the Yorubas were instrumental in clamoring for the rule of law to take its course. Jonathan got there only to remember he was Igbo and severed ties with those that fought for him.

Most Nigerians are novice, the Northerners never treated the Yorubas as slave at any instant of Buhari presidency, rather Yorubas have equal stake in Nigeria and we are part of the APC echelon. We have rail, roads, dry ports, etc. built by the APC government in the SW and some unfortunate beings keep tagging the Yorubas as slaves to the North. Which North?

We are only learning from the Igbos (Azikwe-Ekwueme-Sylvester Ugoh) on how to ally with the North at the detriment of the so called southern unity. Isn’t that what Obi tried doing unsuccessfully in 2019 with Atiku a Fulani Muslim?

You guys only condemn what you can’t have and I feel sorry for any Yoruba on here falling for your tricks.
