GOVERNMENT SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

It is hereby announced for the information of the general public particularly business owners in Delta State that the Delta State Signage and Advertisement Agency (DESAA), will commence the removal of illegal, derelict, untagged and unregistered billboards across Delta State.

Accordingly, the general public, business owners and particularly practitioners in the Outdoor Advertising business that have erected billboards in Delta State are by this announcement requested to forward lists of their billboards with their locations to the Agency on or before Tuesday December 31, 2019, as failure to comply with this demand will render such billboards eligible for removal and confiscation.

It should be noted that from the first week of January 2020, DESAA will commence state-wide removal of all untagged, unregistered, illegal and derelict billboards across the State.

DESAA will henceforth not entertain the indiscriminate erection of billboards, sign posts and the likes around the State without the proper approval as any such action will henceforth be visited with the full weight of the law.
