LIVERPOOL will not be allowed to wear their new world champions badge in the Premier League this season.
League rulings mean that the prestigious addition to the kit cannot be made during the campaign.

.
.
They can, however, wear the Fifa Champions Badge in Champions League matches and in the Prem next term, up until the Club World Cup final in 2020.
And a formal application must be submitted to be granted permission for the FA Cup.
The Reds earned the right to have the gold badge after winning the Club World Cup on Saturday.
Roberto Firmino finished off a counter attack in the first half of extra time, slotting home to secure a 1-0 win over Flamengo.
But fans won’t be seeing the extra touch to the kit as Jurgen Klopp’s men chase a first Premier League title.
A FIFA spokesperson said: “As per the usage guidelines, the winning team can wear the FIFA World Champions Badge from the day it becomes champions up to and including the final of the next edition of the tournament.”
Real Madrid have had the honour for the last three years after backing up their hat-trick of Champions Leagues with the Club World Cup each time.
Liverpool, though, will be presented with the badge – which is 78 millimetres by 57mm – at an official ceremony.
It will only be permitted on current shirts and not retro jerseys or training kit.
Speaking of the desire to be able to don the gold badge, Georginio Wijnaldum said: “When I speak about the tournament with family and friends, they all speak about the badge.
“That’s something you want; every time you look at the shirt it reminds you that you won the World Cup for teams.”
