If truly the rewards of teachers are situated in heaven, for pensioners at the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), their reward seems to be in hell as a pensioner is only entitled to N7,000.00 monthly while the serving Managing Director, Adebayo Somefun of the insurance scheme reportedly goes home with a whooping N3.3million monthly.

A simple calculation of the pensioner’s N7,000.00 monthly salary multiplied by 12 shows that a pensioner only earns N84,000.00 annually.

This is just a tip of an iceberg by the time you get to know how it is going down in some other Agencies

There are over 1,500 MDA's and parastatals scattered all over, if only we Know how much bogus pay their chief excuthieves take home periodically, some even make more than ministers...I bet all of us will chorus realistic restructuring including the complacent northerners. Moribund agencies that are better left in the hands of regions, reasons I don't follow the crowd to blame the 'legislooters', they are just our punching bag, they see how much the excuthieves swindle whenever they come for budget defense....SMH for shithole.

Is that not the salary range for govt agency MDs. Pension is not the same as salary.
What level was the pensioner when he left the service?
