Qur'an Vs Bible: Faith Or Deeds? by AntiChristian: 11:19am On Dec 25, 2019 |
Faith and Deeds Bible says: Romans 10:9 9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Galatians 2:16,21 16 know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.... 21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!" These verses contradict with these verses from the bible... James 2:14 14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? James 2:17 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. James 2:24 24 You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone. Quran says: Surah 4:123-124 It will not be in accordance with your desires, nor the desires of the People of the Scripture. He who doeth wrong will have the recompense thereof, and will not find against Allah any protecting friend or helper. And whoso doeth good works, whether of male or female, and he (or she) is a believer, such will enter paradise and they will not be wronged the dint in a date-stone. Surah 24:39 As for those who disbelieve, their deeds are as a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one supposeth it to be water till he cometh unto it and findeth it naught, and findeth, in the place thereof, Allah Who payeth him his due; and Allah is swift at reckoning. |
