Niger Bridge At Risk Of Collapse, Igbo Group Cries Out by Islie: 8:21am On Dec 27, 2019 |
Ochie Igbo has raised the alarm that the first Niger Bridge is at risk of collapsing. The umbrella socio-political group of young Igbo professionals lamented that while work on the second Niger Bridge was proceeding at an impressive rate, the current bridge connecting the South East to the South West was being overloaded. https://m.guardian.ng/news/niger-bridge-at-risk-of-collapse-igbo-group-cries-out/ 4 Likes

Biafrans should worry about that not Nigerians. Biafrans should start using the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Niger Bridges constructed and commissioned by their beloved son Goatluck Jonathan 117 Likes 17 Shares |

Islie: The spate of idiocy in Nigeria has qualified the shithole called Nigeria to be disintegrated. Only a foolish fool in an idiotic country will have a checkpoint at the foot of a bridge. There is much of a stress the materials used in the construction of bridge could withstand at a given time. Why would anybody design a mean to add more stress to the girders? Sometimes, I reluctantly agree that Nigeria is a basket of fools. 44 Likes 4 Shares |

RichBoy247: You are one additional reason Nigeria is called shithole. Bridge across River Niger at Ahaba/Onicha has been in existence before the declaration of Biafra. It is not a bridge for Ndigbo but the so-called Nigerians. 25 Likes 1 Share |

See the fault is not from Anambra axis but from Delta state police force....both their road safety They will mount check point across the bridge in Delta and will cause heavy trucks to spend much time on the bridge all just to extort from traders. Road safety own worst pass..up to 4 close points just to extort.... Delta state government should call these officers to order. As stated: President-general of Ochie Igbo, Dr. Chuks Orji, accused the Delta State Command of Nigeria Police of imposing undue stress on the old bridge, raising a checkpoint at the foot of the bridge, causing vehicles, especially articulated and haulage trucks, to spend much time on the bridge. Orji said: “It has become increasingly worrisome that cars and other heavy vehicles are made to park on top of the Onitsha Bridge for hours. This is of a grave concern, because a closer look at the warning pasted on the bridge by certified engineers, says cars and vehicles shouldn’t be allowed to park on the bridge for hours.” 8 Likes |

The same bridge we still travelled on some days ago?! Well, Federal government officials should please take note of this information, if it is true. Thank you so much our darling Daddy for the good works you are doing in our region. This is why we honest and hardworking igbos trust and believe in you. You are truly for nobody and belong to everybody. This is the same bridge that the criminals they are seeing as their heroes refused to build for 16 wasted years, They all rather gathered to loot our national treasury and bought jewelries worth several million of dollars. Money that can change the entire lineage of these wailers wailing on every thread here. Unrepentant bigots! God bless President Muhammadu Buhari and his AMIABLE Vice President PROF YEMI OSINBAJO. God bless Nigeria. Funkybabee:What do kids know 9 Likes 4 Shares
