Let's hope they succeed. The police will still be in full charge of investigation, taking statements from suspect and procuring witnesses for the prosecutor. You see, the police still dey kampe in the criminal prosecution process.

The restructuring you are all asking for is finally here. God works in mysterious ways. Other states may now use this section of the constitution to create their own police and judicial system.

"In political terms, secularism is the principle of the separation of government institutions and persons mandated to represent the state from religious institution and religious dignitaries (the attainment of such is termed secularity)."

That was the constitution we negotiated for at independence.

You want True Federalism, but you don't want the States to have their own laws and control their Judiciary. What do you call Federalism? This Restructuring that you have been screaming since we disgraced you at the polls in 2015, what is it about if States cannot manage their Judiciary?

You said Northerners should bring it on that you are waiting, the one they brought to your door steps in 1967 you did not wait to receive it. Instead it made you sacrifice three million of your brethren to the Yoruba gods of Ogun, Sango and Aiyelala

Nonsense talk! True federalism when the FG won't allow you replicate sharia-like laws in the South and put it in the Nigerian constitution.

Each time I read your posts I puke! Tribalism and unerring support for Buhari are the only two thing you have an A in.

They want to hand it over to religious Hisbah.

This is the real purpose. I came to the same conclusion too.

FG cannot stop your state from making its own laws.

This is smart move other states should copy if they haven't already. The federal government should only be prosecuting federal laws honestly. The constitution has to be amended to reflect thid reality by taking prisons and police out exclusive list.
