Hope you know the norms involved in parrots keeping as pet, once they accept you as a partner, no any other person, not even a family member is allowed to pet it And when they are within your proximity, they object to any close contact between you and any other person |

cbrass:Naaaa, dog foresees everybody within it's parameters as a family once they don't see you as a threat to them but more loyal to the handler which it regards as the alpha dog of it's pack, every other member of the house is a pack member, unless if not well socialised at pup hood Parrots on the other hand regards theirs as mating order whereby they mate for life, no amount of socialisation can cub that 1 Like |

cbrass:Senegal parrot and it doesn't talk. Just makes noises and it's smaller. It's even 4k not 7k. The African grey on the other can talk if you buy half grown instead of mature bird. Like the other guy said, the price range is between 40-50k depending on the area you're buying it. In the North, its cheap by at least 5-8k. Dont just buy a parrot because you like the idea. Buy it because you really want it and can care for it. |
