L’Avyanna, a natural and organic skincare brand with European origins and with strong pressence in the ethnic-diaspora beauty space is happy to announce her open position for a fulltime accountant to support her goals in the area of Account and finance.

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and analyse periodic financial statements including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis
2. Assist in establishing and implementing inventory policies and procedures
3. Prepare, distribute and maintain daily, weekly, monthly inventory report and general ledger.
4. Prepare and process receipts invoices and commissions
5. Data entry
6. Assure inventory control and accounting practices
7. Perform weekly and monthly inventory count at all sites
8. Create and archive monthly journal entries
9. Compute taxes, and payroll procedures
10. Successfully complete the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks and reports set by management

Preferred Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• A Chartered Accountant
• Working knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets and PowerPoint
• Mastery of accounting software for effective performance
• High initiative and ability to work with no supervision
• Not less than 5 years working experience in Accounting (preferably in a cosmetic industry)
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work in an environment with rapidly changing priorities
