Your thoughts on USDCHF

While it's tempting to buy because it looks cheap... I think it's a bad idea trying to catch the bottom
Market conditions suggest a strong Franc can still be the case for a while.

I would prefer selling if continuation patterns show up.
My thoughts.

Looks like most people here already have a system they use..

Anyone here trying to learn to trade? Or form a model. Like a newbie.. Not entirely green. You know the basics already..
Could give you a step to step guide on how to make trading plans and execute.. Using how I approach or try to approach the market as an example...

Like this post so I know if anyone is interested..
If anyone is.. Would go ahead and post an example here.

That's much.
Will give more examples today when I am free.
I will definitely give more examples.
Hopefully it helps many on how to make trading plans and execute.

Thank you.
I understand.
I will be very careful and time it right. So I don't get caught.

However, WTI may trade as low as 20 USD per barrel.. This year or next year.

Oil shocked shocked

Naira might be in trouble if OPEC and Russia does not agree soon on coordinated supply cuts.
What was the benchmark for our budget again?

So as a speculator..

I would advice folks, who can, to hold their money in dollars. Maybe in a domiciliary account or something.

Technically, doesn't look good either..

If it doesn't bounce here.
35 USD per barrel might be the next stop.

It's hard seeing a bounce with all these fundamentals around it.

Next let's do USDSEK.

It is following my opinion for now.
Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by Nobody: 8:49am On Mar 08, 2020
Look how important the purple zone has been for USDSEK.

So we can agree it's a very important level.

Now analysing this again.. I am beginning to think my initial thoughts may be wrong.
Looks like it's bottoming on the Monthly timeframe. And could test the high at the black line.. 2000, 2001 high.

But there is no controversy as to how important that purple zone is.

So if we add a trendline, and some sprinkle of RSI.
We will find that it turned from a diagonal resistance provided by the trendline.
We also find some bearish divergence.
Which may signify there is an immediate top at that last high (2019 high).

So I had been looking to sell for a while because I felt that could be a top that will bring a lot of downside move. It's only now that I have another perspective which I just put in the first post.

But last month's candle was a nice pinbar. Which is a very strong bearish signal. Combined with the other evidences I just mentioned. And there is one more evidence on the weekly.

So either ways..
If one is bullish one could be thinking.. Are we going to test the purple line again before we make another high? That's, we expect the purple line to be resistance becoming support. This is my view now. The purple line may hold as support.

If one is bearish.. Are we going all the way down now? That's we don't expect the purple line to hold. This was my opinion before.

Re: Forex Trade Alerts: Season 20 by Nobody: 9:15am On Mar 08, 2020
Weekly.
This was an extremely bearish signal.
A pinbar, followed by an extremely bearish candle on the weekly.

After this, one won't be wrong to take any one hour sell setups. I doubt I can find in this case. It just tumbled altogether.

So after this I was looking to sell.
One could have used the purple line as a near term target.

So the 2nd picture was the picture before last week started.

I was hoping for a retracement to the green line before selling but that didn't happen. As the drop was fast.

So what's next. We monitor the price action around the purple line. I expect it to hold because I think I am now bullish.

However, If it breaks the purple convincingly, means more downside is possible. And one can start looking for sell setups.

First thing..
I may be wrong.
And Your idea may turn out good.
But you asked for my opinion.
So let me say what I think.

I learnt the hard way not to ignore news.. And events around the world when trading. Till the issue of coronavirus is settled.. I don't want to buy the assets that will be affected by the coronavirus thing. AUD'S economy is closely linked to China.
China and Australia are NOT economies that I would like to invest in at the moment.

Secondly.. RBA just cut interest rate. The last bullish push is at the back of the cut being less than the market anticipated.
A cut in interest rate isn't exactly bullish long term.

Now Technicals.

AUDUSD

Eyes on 0.6670.

A clear downward trend.
And we assume that's still the case until proven otherwise.

So maybe this up move is correction?

The last key level it lost is 0.6670..
Will that turn to resistance?

So if I see sell opportunities at that level. I will sell..

If it breaks that level easily... Then means maybe correction will be deeper. Or Bullish trend is emerging. But I will stay out in this case because I have decided to start going for only trades where everything adds up.

Target will be 0.6285 if I sell.
Will be looking for lower timeframe sell setups.
But like I explained yesterday. Will close major positions after significant move in my direction and then see if the remaining small positions will hit that primary target.

I'm still trying hard to learn this charting..it's very hard o
