when an African becomes rich: especially in nigeria 1. His bank account are in Switzerland. 2. He travels to France for medical treatment. 3. He invests in Germany. 4. He buys from Dubai 5. He consumes Chinese 6. He prays in Rome or Mecca. 7. His children study in Europe. 8. He travels to Canada, USA, Europe for tourism. 9. If he dies, he will be buried in his native country Africa. 10. Africa is just a cemetery for Africans. .how could a cemetery be developed?

It's called colonial mentality. But we are gradually shedding it. For instance, we used to all watch Hollywood movies and shun our own productions, back in the day. Now the reverse is the case. Nollywood rules the screen.

Same as music. Back in the 80s and 90s, if you played Nigerian music at a college or house party, people would laugh at you and call you an egbe (in western Naija ) or JewMan (eastern). Today, you cannot organise a groove without Naija beats pumping at some point, or even all night. So na small by small. cool
