We Have No Financial Record To Present, gov Dickson Transition Committe Tells APC by Nobody: 8:51pm On Jan 04, 2020
The Bayelsa state government transition committee set up by the outgoing governor, Henry Seriake Dickson has informed its counterpart from the All Progressives Congress (APC), that it has no financial record of the state under the administration of Gov. Dickson to present.

It would be recalled that on the 5th of December 2019, the governor-elect of Bayelsa state, His Excellency Chief David Pereworimini Lyon wrote to intimate the outgoing governor, Henry Seriake Dickson of the 59 man Transition Committee he has put in place for the purpose of ensuring a smooth, hitch-free transition and handover.

In furtherance of the mandate given to the APC Transition Committee, it was said to have written to its counterpart from the outgoing administration, requesting for the financial records of Gov. Dickson’s two terms in office.

A source revealed that the Gov. Dickson-constituted transition committee in its response to the APC’s demand for the financial records of the state under the two terms of the outgoing governor stated its inability to supply the state’s financial records for the period under review on the non-availability of the state’s financial records as requested, with the claim that it is working assiduously to make it available and its availability would be subject to approval from the outgoing governor.

A member of the APC, Ebiye Michael queried the report. He said: “This development is not only disappointing, but suspect, giving that the Dickson-led administration had prided itself as a transparent government. Wherein lies the much touted transparency of the Dickson-led government if it could not make available its financial records?”

According to a source, the governor-elect, His Excellency Chief David Lyon has resolved be make public the financial state of the State after his swearing-in on the February 14th 2020.

Dickson was a product of his own political political misfortune....Greed.

He want to make his cousin Senator Duoye Diri Governor so that he will contest and return back to senate.

Only greedy men reasons that way but they will be first to tell you they love the masses.
