Course Outline Intro to Workplace health and safety Intro to Workplace health and safety – looks at the basic concept and definitions of terms, such as accidents, illnesses, risk, hazards etc. associated with workplace health and safety. Workplace hazards and risks assessment Workplace hazards and risks assessment – deals with fundamental principles of Environmental, Health and Safety Management in workplace, planning for hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control etc. Workplace safety procedures Workplace safety procedures – deals with emergency preparedness and response. Safety procedures for emergency response, performance measuring, monitoring and improvement with regards to HSE regulations as per Personal Protective Equipment usage and compliance. Workplace HSE routine for staffs Workplace HSE routine for staffs – deals with enforcement of drills, strategies, procedures, checklists, data collection, data analysis, reporting of safety practises and compliance.
