16,000 Farmers Get Dry Season Farming Loan by Easymoney00101(m): 7:06am On Jan 06, 2020 |
The Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria (RIFAN) has provided farm inputs worth N200,000 to each of about 16,163 Rice Farmers in Taraba as the 2020 dry season farming loan.. The loan was provided by the association to its registered members from Wukari, Ibi, Ardo Kola, Gassol, Lau Jalingo, Bali, Karim-Lamido, Yorto and Donga local government areas of the state. Distributing the farm inputs in Jalingo on Sunday, the Taraba Chairman of the association, Malam Tanko Andami, said the association secured the loan through Unity Bank. According to Andami, the loan facility was guaranteed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) under its ‘Anchor Borrower’s Scheme.
