What They Don’t Tell You About Passing WAEC by starryadmin: 5:05pm On Jan 07, 2020
It’s almost WAEC season and many students in their final year of
secondary school are busy preparing for the long awaited exams.
I remember dreading WAEC because all my seniors were saying that:

”WAEC is very difficult to pass ooo”

Or

“ Its only God that can make you pass”

Or

“ its by luck if you pass”

Or

“Its hard to pass WAEC without dubs”

Hearing all these things made me scared and terrified about writing it.
Even thinking about it was scary.

I kept asking myself that why is no one telling me that WAEC is easy to pass.
So, when I wrote GCE in SS2, I was surprised at how
majority of the questions were what had been taught in class.
It wasn’t even as scary or difficult as I thought it will be.
My results were Cs and 1A. My parents were proud of me but
I wanted to get a better result than that in WAEC.

While preparing for GCE, all my friends had lesson teachers to prepare them.
I didn’t have that opportunity.
It was very frustrating because there were many topics to read and
I didn’t know which ones to concentrate on.
Sowhen preparing for WAEC my parents got me
WAEC video lectures from Starry Gold Academy.

The videos were very easy to understand! In fact,
it was almost like my lesson teacher .
Because if we were taught something I didn’t understand,
I could listen to it to understand it better.
There were even past questions at the end of each topic,
so you can know if you truly understand!

The past questions will help you get used to the way WAEC sets their questions.
Armed with this secret weapon, preparing for WAEC ,
wasn’t as stressful and frustrating as it was for my friends.
And when my WAEC result came out…
I couldn’t believe it! I had 4As and 5Bs!I passed WAEC in one sitting!

Passing WAEC is not as difficult as we think is,
the easy approach I got from the video tutorial is that,
after studying a topic, you are supposed to solve a lot of
past questions on that topic…….

But why has no one mention this approach to all WAEC student
