The 2019 CAF Awards was held at the Albatros Citadel Sahl Hasheesh Resort in Hurghanda, Egypt on Tuesday.
The 28th edition of the CAF Awards saw the emergence of African footballers and officials who performed exceptionally well in 2019.
Sadio Mane was crowned the African player of the year, polling 477 votes ahead of his Liverpool Teammate Mohammed Salah who polled 325 votes and Algeria's Riyad Mahrez who got 267 votes.
Asisat Oshoala was named African women's player of the year for the fourth time, same number of awards as ex-star Perpetua Nkwocha.
She polled 351votes, 30 more than Cameroonian Forward, Ajara Nichout and Thembi Kgatlana, who had 247votes.
