Muslim passengers were pictured praying in front of the toilet at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos as there was no mosque for them to observe their prayers. A twitter user who shared the the pictures called on the government to provide a space for passengers to pray.

I just witnessed a rather humiliating situation at the MMA 1 Airport in Lagos. There was no prayer room so Muslims who have checked-in have to pray right in front of the toilet! Hon Minister @hadisirika should pls prevail on @FAAN_Official to reserve a shop for that purpose.

At least our airport infrastructure should be able to accommodate the two main religions in Nigeria. Traveling in convenience is key to attracting important visitors to our country.

Ehen. Their own must be different. People use the airport to travel but one of them must go a step further by demanding for a mini-mosque as well. Mscheeeeeeeew. That is how they also go around blocking the streets of Lagos in the name of prayer, not minding how they are inconveniencing road users.

I don't really care about them, as long as they don't block the convenience when people need to use it.

Our brothers need to stop this habit of demanding for a place to worship, last I checked it's not a fundamental right for government to look after your faith needs.
