In partnership with Opera, MTN has just introduced new data plans which is only usable on Opera Mini, Opera browser and Opera News app. This is coming just when they offered free 50MB daily to browse on Opera mini using an MTN sim.

Although the data plans are not huge, but it's worth starting the year with. The data can only be use to browse only. You can't download or stream videos with it, else you will be charged from your normal data plan.

If you are an MTN subscriber, you can download Opera Mini or Opera News app and enjoy cheap data bundles.
The bundles comes in three different plans, which are daily, weekly and monthly plans.

To subscribe, simply dial *131*3# and select Opera Mini and News.
