Maple Leaf Foods Executive Director Michael McCain said his partner’s wife and son died among 57 Canadians.

He did not specifically mention Mr. Trump and suggested that the “Washington daffodils” ultimately caused a public tragedy.

McCain said in a tweet on the subject that “American leaders made a malicious plan to get out of the political catastrophe.”

McCain, with more than 11,000 employees, said the death of a family member was “a dangerous danger of this irresponsible, dangerous and cruel act.”
