AIRTEL; the new owners of ZAIN sometimes late last week slashed its call rates to 20kobo per seconds to all networks within Naija and the US. Their is however the semblance of a daily rental attached to this; users will be billed 60kobo per seconds for the first 60 seconds, effectively, this means a daily fee of N24. MTN silently followed suit sometimes around midnight or early Saturday morning. Its new rates is now 25kobo per seconds to all networks without any daily fee. We await the reaction of Glo and especially Etisalat that started it all. whatever happens, Naija, , we are now talking. |
