Our client, a Global Logistics Company urgently requires the services of Freight Operations Team Member.

Job title: Freight Operations Team Member

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Job responsibilities
• Coordinate collection of documents from different terminals and other Agents/vendors
• Arrange for dispatcher riders to meet pickup and delivery timelines and customer requests
• Air freight and sea freight operations- coordinating with clearance team for cargo shipments
• Ensure shipments proper handling as per quality standards to avoid any discrepancy that could lead to penalties or fines.
• Coordinate with different vendors for supply and transport of cargo.
• Agree with Customer Service and Sales Team on timeframes to handle all shipments
• Ensure regular updates on system.
• Immediately update the concerned Customer Service and Sales Team with any delay, damage or discrepancy related to shipments

Qualification/ Experience
Education
BSc or HND with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
