You show us a picture of kersosene shared in Enugu,yet till date more than 70% of core northerners still use firewoods to cook.

Even the food you claim to have majorly comes from the middle belts like Jos and benue state.There is serious hunger in the North, exactly the reason for the serious poverty as well.Its very hard to see an Igbo child begging for food,but it's a culture to see almajiri kids in their millions with plastic plates.

Kano is fairly well developed especially Kumbostu, Dala, Fagge, Nasarawa and Kano Municipal LGAs. For centuries ,Kano has been more developed than other parts of the North and it will be misleading to judge the North based on what's obtainable in Kano.


The good news is many States in the North have started serious developmental programmes.
Anyone who visited Potiskum, Damaturu, Gombe in 1990 and revisit these cities in 2020 will see remarkable improvement.
