The supreme court should reverse the judgement, while the CJN should recuse himself? My question now is this, did the PDP say this when the same court gave them Zamfara state where the PDP candidates lost all the elective post on a platter of gold? or in the River State where all the candidates of the other party were barred from contesting in the election? PDP must first ask the Supreme court to first do this in Zamfara and River State. Then I will take take the PDP serious. 4 Likes 1 Share |

This is the assassination of democracy. Tanko abi wetin be ur name......you better step down and return to your sharia skull where you have been all your career. It’s only a man without waec result that can look at this man and appoint him a lawyer.....let alone Chief Justice......it’s too coveted for a man like Tanko who may not be qualified to be a lawyer from the past 1 year he’s been there.......then this Imo state jugdement. Please you have fired the first shot that will lead to the death of democracy in Nigeria Step down Tanko Revolution Now May GOD bless Omoyele Sowore and Nnamdi Kanu for their foresight and courage 1 Like

discusant: Alright, let's agree that PDP's Ihedioha used "Vote Manufacturing Plant (VMP)" to capture "nearly 150,000 votes from two rural local govt areas in his home area". Now, let's look at what the electoral act says shall we? According to Electoral Act, for any vote to count, such a vote must be accredited. Now, my question is: 1. Irrespective of where it was manufactured from, was PDP's vote accredited or not and was it in line with INEC's accreditation? 2. Where did that almajiri born sharia hunter turned CJN who is suffering from arithmetic deficiency manufactured his 103, 082 unaccredited vote from? 3. Based on electoral Act, was the supreme court right or wrong? 4. Are you saying all the cancelled votes belongs to Sen. Hope Uzodinma and no one voted for the other parties? festacman: Are you saying that it is even possible that ALL voters in those 388 PUs voted only for one candidate/party? If not, then the real disenfranchisement is by the Supreme Court of voters who did not vote for that one candidate/party. Frankly, it is those Supreme Court Justices who are "denigrating" themselves... If there's evidence of impropriety/rigging in the elections, the panacea is not to install the Justices' preferred candidate! SMH > 1 Like 2 Shares |

zoedew: Akiika: Abegi, which kind of "logical argument" gives us more valid votes than accredited voters?! Granted that the PDP and APC are merely two sides of the SAME criminal enterprise, but let's not stand reality on its head! > |

PROPHETmichael:Rig yourself in, I rig you out - that's the summary of Imo state governorship election last year. Group Ihedioha stared with inflated vote count in his home area. Uzodinma group later found other means to outdo Ihedioha group. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Commentor:Didn't you read the part that says any judge that showed any form of opposition to the already scripted verdict was dropped?. Again, was Mary Odili part of the panel that delivered the Oluwole judgement?. You guys are never objective but dangerously blind & continuously subservient to your masters. |

Hillsong34:Perhaps Ihedioha was only trying to replicate the Buhari anti corruption stance in Imo. Hope you are aware that Uzodinma has ordered a probe of the administrations of Ohakim, Okorocha & Ihedioha? |

yarimo:Remind them also about Zamfara. Was it not Justice Tanko that handled entire Zamfara State to PDP? When he does no one called for his resignation or wail that democracy is in trouble. Now that it is their turn to be served in the same cup they are wailing and wailing and wailing.... 1 Like 1 Share |

ezenwajosh: A person shall not be qualified to hold the office of Chief Justice of Nigeria or a Justice of the Supreme Court, unless he is qualified to practice as a legal practitioner in Nigeria and has been so qualified for a period of not less than fifteen years. (4) If the office of You can add, subtract, divide and multiply as it suits your ego but it wouldn't change the fact that Tanko is eminently qualified according to our constitution. PDP and indeed Jonathan were happy to elevate him to be a supreme court judge and therein the opportunity came. |

Ihedioha should have himself and his lawyers to blame. They were all caught napping. Poorly done job. Judgements are delivered based on evidence and facts presented before the courts and not on sentiments. Laziness and complacency is costly. 2 Likes 1 Share |

iLiquidator: Handle each case based on facts on ground. the mentioned states are not exactly the same, In election, it is all about people votes. where things don't add up elections are nullified and another held. I have read lots of comments here from both extremes, and what I see is that a lot of people lack sense of Judgement of what is right or wrong. What is the essence of accreditation? The Imo judgement is so obviously flawed, it left a lot of questions which even the Supreme court will not be able to give a convincing answer. This judgment will set a bad precedence especially when nothing is done to strengthen our election process. What it means is that INEC is a waste of resources. 1 Like |
