Why Is The Presidency, North And Miyetti Allah Jittery Over Amotekun? by Sanchez01: 12:30pm On Jan 19, 2020
Never have I seen the Presidency, the ACF and Miyetti Allah, alongside some of their elders consistently come out to condemn someone or something as they have done Amotekun ever since the security outfit was launched.

The presidency, through its AGF didn't waste any time to claim that the Amotekun initiative is illegal. The same has never for once condemned the activities of killer herdsmen running riots across states in Nigeria.

The Arewa Consultative Forum didn't waste time either to claim that the presence of Amotekun will threaten the unity of Nigeria and I've been wondering how their claim could materialize.

As if that isn't enough, a dying Ibrahim Babangida suddenly found his voice to campaign against the newly launched outfit in the South West.

Miyetti Allah, for the first time, has shown great signs of fear by sending its influential people out to announce that Amotekun is not only illegal but primarily set up to target the Fulanis in Nigeria. Furthermore, their supposed head in Oyo 'demanded' to have Fulanis as members of the security outfit and I am left to think whether or not these guys think at all.

In a bid to drive home their points, a cattle rearing organization as the Miyetti Allah suddenly has the power to dangle the ticket of the presidency before the South East. The same who said the SE stood no chance in Nigeria suddenly become the one claiming the South West has destroyed its chances of landing the presidential ticket and as such, the worthy region now is the South East.

The Game

Prior to the launch of Amotekun, Northern elites and key figures had been coming out to hint that the North will hold on to power in 2023 because its initial eight years under Yar'Adua was never completed because Jonathan failed to honour the gentleman agreement.

After the launch of Amotekun, there seems to have been a sudden turn-around and the stance has changed from 'we're keeping the seat' to 'the South West have destroyed her chances, therefore the South East should have it'.

The Hypocrisy

Hisbah is not only a security outfit but also a Northern Police outfit. They were reported to have arrested a police officer in Kaduna or Kano recently just because the officer was found with a prostitute. The AGF never came out to announce that Hisbah is illegal, neither did the ACF announce that the presence of Hisbah threatens the unity of the country.

A dying Babangida didn't come out to criticize Hisbah and neither did any God-forsaken retired police IG come out to criticize the rag-tag-like group.

The Agenda

The South West is the only region in Nigeria that conveniently house and accommodate every tribe, creed and religion in Nigeria, far more than other regions. So I'm wondering; of all ethnic groups, and tribes in the South West, none have come out to claim the set up of Amotekun is targeted at them but the Fulanis. The question is 'WHY'?? Why are the Fulanis worried? Why are Northern elders jittery and coming out one after another to cry? Who equipped Miyetti Allah with the power to dangle the presidency ticket before the South East and the South West?

What is the Presidency, the ACF and Miyetti Allah afraid of?

This whole episode has made the North reveal themselves to be enemies of the Yoruba

And Yoruba must consider them so

Answers to your question is fulanization agenda, since all the security operatives are control by Fulani's. this new security outfit (Amotekun) will give them headache to fulfil fulanazation agenda.

Obviously they have something sinister in mind

Notwithstanding, they have collaborators in the South West in the name of Tinubu and his group.

Tinubu is not comfortable with the fact that majority of who formed Amotekun are his political foes within the South West.

I think it is way more beyond just enemies. These guys seem to be hatching a plan and the presence of Amotekun seems to be threatening whatever it is they are planning.

The northern oligarchs have very sinister things in mind and Amotekun is just beginning to send troubles to thier camps.
They know with Amoketun, they will have little or no footprint in SW. Kidnapping, murder, banditry and outright islamization which they believe can only be achieved through violence would be thwarted

And for Tinubu and other key political figures who are eyeing the presidency and refusing to lend their voices to the security of lives of properties in their regions, This is the beginning of the end of their career. When Amoketum eventually become operational, it will cause a major shift in Nigerian politics one that will be radical, positive and lasting.

The same Nnamdi Kanu that referred to Anambra and Imo women as prostitutes or which?

I wouldn't refer to Tinubu as a collaborator as it is purely political for him.

Seyi Makinde and Akeredolu are not in way close to Tinubu and Akeredolu being a driver of the initiative is a SAN.

One thing I'm certain of is that Tinubu will either remain silent or align with the initiative. However, knowing Tinubu isn't the type to align with ideas as he is primarily fond of birthing them, I strongly believe he'll remain quiet over this.

Isn't it obvious there is a sinister plot to convert Nigeria into a Fulani colony?

The Fulanis deserve a second trashing from the Yorubas. This time for good.

War is not good. True. But if that's the only means left to defend and protect our home, we will bring the war to your doorstep.

Because the north has enjoyed monopoly of violence either with the northernized Sunni security forces, their Fulani criminal terrorists and the same Fulani executive that refuses to stop their Fulani terrorists .

The north is no match to the south in any way whatsoever. The north has never engaged the south or middle belt on their own. The civil war was fought and won by middle belt. They only thing the north knows best is to unleash anarchy on their own patch targeting and attacking southerners in their midst. Even BH dare not cross the Niger river. The Fulani criminals are only emboldened by Buhari and his Sunni army to wage their madness with impunity.

On any given day, a southern army will overrun the north in weeks. This is why they will do anything to deny southerners a sizeable presence in the security network and military.

I have had a lot of people asking why this Amotekun has been giving the north sleepless nights. It shows how shallow many Nigerians understand Nigerian politics. In fact let me try to explain something to them. May be they will start understanding Nnamdi Kanu better.

The north contribute very little to Nigerian economic development and would wait for proceeds from Niger Delta oil in order to carry out developmental projects. This is the core cause of Nigerian civil war. Abuja, Kano and other major cities in the north was built solely from oil proceeds.

Suffice is to say that everywhere in the world, oil is not found in every nook and crannies of a country. So Nigeria is not an exception to that simple logic.

But the issue with Nigeria is that the north refuses justice to other parts of Nigeria. Years of military rule refuses tangible project in other parts of the country. And a military channel was put in place to make sure no resistance exists anywhere from Nigeria. This is why you see them colonizing every military and para military organizations. Same reason Obasanjo retired many top military officers of northern origin to wither their influence.

The north fears any resistance that can cause break up and deny them the free flow of Niger Delta oil. The issue is that their mentality of subjugation has caused them big problem managing Nigerian unity. Their notorious nature have even caused a big split within the north itself as many minority northerners have become wiser now. Look at statement from TY Danjuma.

The coming to power by Buhari has escalated this mentality. Fact is that the fear of such subjugations which was evident in Buharis pre election statements caused Igbos to be on the alert resulting to what seemed like a hatred from the Igbos. People like Nnamdi Kanu cashed on this animosity and gained a lot of followership.

The north is always afraid of Nigerian break up but has failed to make Nigeria a country for all.
Im sure America has this intelligence and with the growing hatred they have in the north, we may expect break up earlier than expected.

I would advice Igbos investing so much outside Igboland to think twice before such investments. The future of this country is gloomy and you cannot afford to lose most of your belongings yet again to other Nigerians.

Except divine intervention, the country may have serious issues sooner than expected.

The north is determined to hang on to power beyond 2023 and don't want any opposition. They miscalculated because they thought their divide and rule tactics would work. Unfortunately for them the SE, SS and MB are not falling for their tricks and are in support of the Amotekun initiative. North don enter one chance
