Welcome To Badagry Slave Trade Point Of No Return by theakorede: 10:21pm On Jan 19, 2020
The point of no return was known as a passage way where black slaves after being bought and taken from the baracoon yo the slave route passed through to the ships ready to transport them to other countries to work as slaves
.
.
.
. This was the slave route where the slaves were being taken though tied up to the point of no return

Along the way , there is an attenuation well where it’s believed that the slave masters mixed the water with black magic so the slaves would forget everything about themselves for a space of 3-4 months. This was done to prevent the slaves from revolting the slaves masters during those periods.

As we approached the point of no return which is being renovated
They are two archs known as the arch of departure in which the slaves pass through and from here , they say goodbye to Africa because they were never coming back

Asides the slave trade movement, the environment has being turned to a tourist site of attraction with nice trees and also the seaside in which peopel come to swim at the shores and also have a nice time
