Breaking: Supreme Court Upholds Bala Mohammed’s Governorship Election
ABUJA- The Supreme Court has affirmed the election of Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi state.

The apex court made the pronouncement while delivering judgement in an appeal filed by Mohammed Abubakar, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in the Bauchi state governorship election held on March 9 and 23, 2019, challenging the election of Bala Mohammed.

The Bauchi State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal had dismissed Mohammed Abubakar’s petition for failure to prove substantial non compliance of the election in accordance with provisions of the Electoral Act, INEC guidelines and the Constitution.
