Even though some of them committed suicide because they couldn't think of being slaves for a man, majority of them still landed in Barbados, Virginia or most eastern states of America, And all other Carribean countries.

It was even said that the white men told them, so as to curtail the suicide attempts that they'll still go back to their land, that they're indentured servants like their white counterparts. This had reduced the death rates for a period.

I think it goes without saying that Igbo men are one of the most handsome groups in Nigeria. Unfortunately the threads that I saw in the past showing this were dedicated to Nollywood celebrities, giving the assumption that they were the best Igboland had to offer, which can't be further from the truth.

So this thread is dedicated to the average igbo man, living both inside and outside Nigeria.

To make it into this list, all of the person's grandparents and parents must be from the same ethnic group.
Yorubas always like to bring up hybrids as Yorubas. We will need to know that grandparents and parents are also Yorubas, before such a person can be considered.

People like Michael Uchebo, Azubuike Egwuekwe (6ft 6in), Paul Onuachu (6ft 7in) are all Igbos.

The two tallest players in Keshi's 2014 world cup team are Igbos i.e Uchebo and Egwuekwe, and are ironically from my hometown.
I am 6ft 4in but I have cousins who are much taller than me from my father's side. And all my siblings are over 6 ft

Even looks-wise, AA resemble Igbos more than they resemble Ghanaians and Gambians.
I am aware that there is also some European DNA in AAs which will more than likely, make Ghanaians and Gambians to start assuming Igbo looks, but the over 60% Igbo DNA in AA remains a very strong factor.

There is a major difference between IGBOS BEING AVERAGE, and IGBOS NOT BEING TALL.

If you had written that Igbos are average, you wouldn't have gotten any response from me.

Igbos are not short.

Igbos are even above average.

Yorubas are also average. The same goes for most Nigerians.

For a man, anything from 5ft 7 to 5ft 11 is average.

But Igbo men are by far, more handsome than Yoruba men. It is genetic.

Bring out a bunch of Yorubas and Igbos whose grand parents and parents are all Igbo or Yoruba, and it will be so obvious that Igbos are multiple steps, above the Yorubas, when it comes to handsomeness
