Popular human rights activist, Deji Adeyanju has hailed the governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu on his commitment in ensuring the Amotekun security outfit becomes functional.

Recall that the governor of Ondo State has expressed his undying support for the Amotekun outfit as he pointed out that he doesn’t mind losing his second term bid.

His statement came after the minister of justice, Malami Abubakar proscribed the security outfit.

Reacting to the governor’s statement, the popular activist hailed him as the new hero of the South-Western region.

Governor Akeredolu is not only speaking up for the people of the South-West region, he's also willing to sacrifice his ambition for the safety and protection of his people.

What Governor Akeredolu has done will be told by generations and generations to come. I don't know about you, but this man is my Leader and Hero!!!

In our opened eyes, we’ve realized since 1969 that Hausa-Fulani is our major problem. While our learned and sophisticated brethren are realizing that in 2020!

As a good chief security head in the state, all Governors need to provide adequate security for his state.
To me he is right.
