Muslims Need to explain how peaceful Islam is and why they keep killing one who refuses to join them.

Nigeria is not an Islamic state, neither a Christian state. We were first traditionalists before the advent of both Islam and Christianity.

These religions were brought in to help curb the menace in the society and to help train the society to do the right things always, thereby bringing about a peaceful coexistence in the society. It is strange how fanatic so many have become all in the name of religion even to the extent of Killing the opposite religion practitioners because they refused to renounce their Faith.

There were still wars and killings amongst tribes in the traditionalist days. Tribe against tribe with each tribe trusting in its deities for victory over the other.

Point is even traditional religion did not keep us in check. Tribes that practice it still went to war with each other. So it's not as best as you claim.
