VACANCY VACANCY VACANCY: OFFICE OF THE CITIZEN FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA
HOW TO APPLY

_By Mr. NIGERIA_

The office of the Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is in dire need of marketers, truth defenders, unity breeders, peace negotiators, men and women of integrity, inventors, social activists, etc.

The office of the Governor is been exalted; but i want to ask a question, can there be a Governor without a governed?
The office of the Senator is been exalted too; I also want to ask, can there be Senator without a senatorial zone?

The office of the House of Representatives is been exalted: permit me to ask, can there be a representative, without a Constituency?

For every Government offices and positions, there is a greater position. The office of the Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is the greatest but most neglected throne in the land. How powerful a leader will become, is dependent on the treasures of his followers.

We want to see this office exercising her full audacity and influence in the Governing process. If the president requires the vote from this office to become president, then there's no gainsaying the fact that the office of the Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has been marginalized and subjected to a mere passive object in running the affairs of the State.

The office of the citizen is that long neglected arm of government called the civil society. In modern democracy the arms of government spills a new classification, which is the executive, legislator, judiciary and the civil society group. Governance really is about the people and this social contract is laid down in the constitution of Nigeria. Section 14 subsections 2 a-c of the 1999 constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria as amended, provides that sovereignty belongs to the people of Nigeria from whom government through the constitution derives all its power and authority, that the security and welfare of the people shall be the primary purpose of governance and the participation by the people in their government shall be ensured in accordance with the provisions of the constitution.

Nigerian citizens who are plagued by the ineptitude of her leaders have completely lost confidence in their own faith, faced with the rigors of existence. His exalted office still remains a fluke to him. His life is shred at the mercy of his circumstances. His hope is tired of motivation as he hopes against hope. He is unemployed, underemployed or unemployable. He has long forgotten his right to life as he snoozes under stomach infrastructural schemes. He worships the dubious politicians to find a square meal to his name. Afterward, he makes endless arguments with good memories then takes off his shirt at nightfall in search for a place to pass the night.
The office of the Citizen has lost its beauty, we have thrown away our Glory. That exalted office is more than what we are living out, it is more than putting food on the table, it is more than attaching ourselves to one "big man"; that office is a preserver, a builder, a pathfinder and a defender of generations unborn.
The Nigerians that are to come awaits us, as we take our place and begin to function in our offices.
The citizen can make Nigeria great.
The citizen can change the status quo.
The citizen can determine whether we keep failing, or start winning.

Where are the office holders of the office of the citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?

We therefore, use this medium to call on every Nigerian to start acting in the capacity of the office of the Citizen, Federal Republic of Nigeria and use the powers embedded in the office positively to push for better Governance in the State.

We also call on the Federal Government of Nigeria to kick against every form of discrimination and operate an open Government, where the office of the citizen is not neglected but included, even in the decision making process. We are certain that this will give rise to a fair and inclusive Government.

Without presiding citizens, there is no president.
Without the governed, there is no Governor.
Without the people, there is no representative.

We pay you and vote you into power to take care of us. We trust you with our resources to use them rationally.

There is a Clarion call! This Nation needs you more than ever. These are trying times for our democracy, these are trying times for our economy, these are trying times for our youths, our women, our children and every other phenomenon represented in our dear country.

Dear Nigerians, there is so much vacancy in the office of the Citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; please don't let us down.
As we all move towards our goal, our cumulative success is dependent on the progress of our dear Nation.
Nigeria will win again

God bless Nigeria
