Meanwhile, the cause of the crash is yet to be ascertained, witnesses reported hearing the helicopter’s engine sputtering before it went down. Also, investigation is still on to know where the chopper was coming from and where it was headed.

However, TMZ recently reported that the 41-year-old athlete was heading to Mamba Academy for a basketball practice when the crash happened. Unfortunately, Kobe Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna Maria Onore — aka GiGi was also on board and died in the crash.
