The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), on Monday, January 27, has advised the South-west states Governors that the new security organization named Amotekun should not lean towards any religion or target any ethnic group for victimization.

The group also called the governors to allow the Operation Amotekun embrace all citizens living in the sub-region.

In a statement issued on Monday by the Director of the human rights organization, Prof. Ishaq Akintola.

Was he not the one raising negative points about this outfit based on what he said he saw on Facebook without verification?

His first reaction to Amotekun was scandalous in which he accused the leadership of a religious sponsorship.

His advice with this followup release is an insult and a pre-emption of motive.

Prof. Akintola has always been very careful not to overstep the threshold of law, as reckless as his publications and outbursts are.

I still don't know why some people still agitate and over this amotekun they make it sound like they themselves have hidden agenda for it
