A Leading Travel Agency in Nigeria is currently in need of an Accountant.

Location: Lekki

The ideal candidate must be experienced in

managing accounting activities, including bank reconciliations (track bank deposits and payments,reconcile bank statements),

accounts payable and accounts receivable - the day-to-day management of financial transactions and procedures (keeping accurate records for all daily transactions,

prepares balance sheets/processes invoices, records accounts payable and accounts receivable),

Tax related issue (prepares payment schedule, filling of tax returns, liaise with FIRS/LIRS and other statutory agencies).

Preparation and presentation of reports, budgets and financial statements,

Update internal systems with financial data, Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports,

Participate in financial audits,

Review and implement financial policies



Requirements
• HND/BSc. in Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
ACA (or in the final stage) will be an added advantage
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or similar role with a minimum of 4 years experience
• Proven work experience in the Travel Industry will be preferred
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
• Experience using financial software
• Advanced MS Excel skills and other analytical tools.

Good presentation skills with knowledge of PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
Good knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications, Word, Outlook, etc.
• Knowledge of financial regulations Excellent analytical, financial modelling and numerical skills
• Sharp time management skills
• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.
