Following viral video of popular actor, Ernest Asuzu showing the actor, shirtless and begging for help on the streets of Lagos, the popular actor has revealed the real reason he went shirtless in the video. Sleekgist reports.

Asuzu, who has featured alongside  A-list Nollywood actors in popular movies disclosed that he went shirtless because he needed money for his medical condition.

The ace actor emphasized that he is not insane and further disclosed in a new video that he deliberately removed his shirt so that Nollywood practitioners would feel his pain.

While begging for funds from well meaning Nigerians to enable him to take care of his medical bills, Asuzu disclosed that he is presently down with a stroke and publicized his illness about six years ago.

Recall that a Nigerian identified as John Louis on Instagram uploaded a video of the actor begging for money on the streets of Lagos without shirts and the actor was barely recognizable in the video.

According to Louis, the actor was found begging for alms on the streets of Oke-Afa in Isolo, Lagos. The actor could also be seen in the video nodding in affirmation.
